¾ cup unsweetened cocoa powder (regular cocoa)
¼ teaspoon salt
¾ cup + 2 tablespoons butter, melted
1 ½ cups sugar
2 eggs
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
¾ cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
¼ cup chocolate chips (optional, for topping)l)
Directions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F. Grease or line a 8×8 baking dish.

- Mix wet ingredients
In a large bowl, mix together:
melted butter
sugar
eggs
vanilla
Stir until smooth and well combined.
- Mix Dry Ingredients
Add:
flour
cocoa powder
salt
Mix until just combined. Do not overmix. - Slowly incorporate your dry ingredients to your wet. Mix until just combined. Do not overmix.
- Fold in chocolate chips if using.
- Pour batter into your prepared pan and spread evenly.
Bake for 40-45 minutes.
